William Cash (Stone, Conservative) To ask the Prime Minister whether he plans to participate in the negotiations on (a) improving fiscal discipline and economic union in the Euro area and (b) treaty changes as announced in the Euro summit statement issued following the summit on 26 October 2011.
David Cameron (Prime Minister; Witney, Conservative) I will continue to attend European Council meetings where these issues will be discussed. No treaty changes can be made without unanimous agreement of the European Council.
