A new report from the Taxpayers' Alliance analyses all UK MEPs' activity over the last European Parliament legislature, for transparency and for participation in the parliament's work.
According to the report the "highest scoring MEP" is Jim Allister formerly of the DUP but now independent, followed by the Conservatives Chris Heaton-Harris, Dan Hannan, Roger Helmer and Syed Kamall. Labour MEPs' performance is very poor, "the highest scorer, Robert Evans, comes in at 27th, just outside the top third." Read the report here.
