Sir Bill Cash has been a Conservative Member of Parliament since 1984 and has held the Stone seat at every election since 1997. Sir Bill Cash is now celebrating his 10th consecutive victory. He polled 31,687 votes and won with a very comfortable majority of 19,945 (17,495 in 2017).

After a remarkable result, the largest victory since the Margaret Thatcher’s days, the Conservative Party will finally give the British people the Brexit they voted for.

Sir Bill Cash said, “In my experience, people in my constituency are extremely practical and down-to-earth.

“I know the area well and I love it. In 10 elections I don’t think I have seen such spontaneity and response when I have been canvassing and meeting people, who have been coming up to me in a way I find extremely encouraging.

“There are two things I have heard repeatedly – ‘we want Brexit done’ and ‘we don’t want Jeremy Corbyn’.

“Thank you to everybody. We will now move on to putting into effect those famous words ‘get Brexit done’.
