From Brussels you can expect everything, even a “role playing game” the so called Citzalia. This is another Brussels attempt to improve the image of the EU institutions, particularly the European Parliament, in the Member States.
In this virtual 3D European Parliament, “Using your avatar you can walk around, interact, network, debate the issues of today, propose legislation, vote and learn about how the European Parliament works for citizens.” But this is nothing else but pure injection of EU propaganda, and they called it “Democracy in action.”
Yes, virtually you would be involved “in the European debate” and EU decision making but, in really life, the EU is doing everything but listen to European citizens.
One could wonder how much such project costs to taxpayers. According to John Worth “this is financed from €4 million allocated to ESN in a 2008 budget line from the EP.”
